Suggested Accommodations
In general, I suggest that you book accommodations at the Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort. The Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort is the main gathering point of the reunion - and the location of the conference room provided to the Draper Family Reunion for social gatherings anytime during the week (24/7).
Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort
Epicenter of Reunion, and the site of most of the activity gatherings.
I strongly recommend this hotel for most people.
Pros:
Main gathering site of the reunion.
We have received a discounted group rate here.
Beautiful location on the Delaware River.
Historic Hotel on spectacularly manicured grounds.
Cons:
Rooms only sleep 4.
Rooms in the main hotel do not have a microware or refrigerator.
Rates:
Averages $163 per night (based on a 7-night stay). This price includes all taxes and fees. This rate includes the use of 9 hole lighted golf course (and clubs), indoor jacuzzi and pool, tennis courts, and hiking trails. Rate of $193 with breakfast included (optional).
Room Options:
Main Hotel: The recommended choice.
Delaware Lodge: Much less nice, but includes microware/ refrigerator.

Shawnee Village Resort
Located adjacent (walkable) to Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort.
In some cases, this may be the better choice for families of 5-8 people.
Pros:
All villas are small 2 bedroom condominiums which sleep up to 8.
All villas have a small kitchen.
Cons:
These villas are NOT nearly as nice as Shawnee Inn & Golf resort (they are rather plain)...
$15 Day-use fee, per person, will be required to use some facilities at the Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort, including golf - but there is NO charge for using the main social gathering room, or other free resort amenities.
Rates:
Estimated at $235-250 per night (including tax, based on a 7-night stay).

Important: There are five different "villages" as a part of the resort. When you reserve a condominium, be certain to request that it is located within "Fairway Village" (the best choice of village, since it is closest -- and the nicest) or within "Depuy Village" or "River Village 1" (the two next closest villages, and not quite as nice as Fairway Village).
Budget Inn and Suites
Located in East Stroudsburg (2 miles away).
The best choice for the budget-conscious.
Pros:
Includes a Continental Breakfast.
Cons:
$15 Day-use fee, per person, will be required to use some facilities at the Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort, such as golf, tennis, and the pool - but there is NO charge for using the main social gathering room.
Rates:
Averages $90-100 per night (plus 10% tax).
